How long should I book you for?
For mingling magic, it is good idea to book based on how many guests you are expecting. Usually, 30 guests or less and a single hour is plenty. But you may need more time the more guests you have.
For a stand-up show, the shorter option is often better for younger children, and the longer show for older kids. But which show you prefer is up to you.
How much space do you need?
For the basic show, a 5x5 square is usually enough room. For the show with juggling a little more room might be necessary.
Can I take photos/video?
Yes, absolutely, feel free to share it on your social media as well.
Will I need to pay a deposit?
Bookings for all private events and weddings require a 50% deposit, this is to save the date on my calendar.
Children's birthday parties and most other house parties don't usually require a deposit.
For children's parties, when should the show be?
It's good to schedule the show start time 30-minutes to an hour after the start of the party to allow for late arriving guests.
What form of payments do you accept?
Charges for private events/weddings can be paid by an online payment service, i.e., PayPal.Â
Birthday parties can be paid by cash, check, or PayPal the day of the party.
Are you really a professional?
Jason has no source of income other than from entertainment.
Is there a contract to use your services?
Yes, to specify the details, and for your peace of mind, there is a simple written contract for events/weddings.
For birthday parties it's usually up to you if you want it in writing, although it is recommended.
What areas do you serve?
Jason performs all over the valley, from Buckeye to Tempe. He's based on the west side, so there may be a small travel charge if your event is on the east side.
Can you perform outside?
For strolling close-up magic, it's not usually a problem, for stand-up shows It's strongly encouraged being inside, as wind and other weather can be unpredictable.
